Join our 2023 Socktober Drive
Each night in the United States, an estimated 600,000 people live on the streets. This October, the Socktober movement wants 2 million people to show that even a small act of kindness, such as donating a pair of socks, can make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are in need.
Montague Miller cares about our community, so we ask you to donate to the 2023 SOCKTOBER Drive by dropping off NEW SOCKS of All Sizes at any of our offices throughout October. We will ensure your donation makes a difference to the people who need and appreciate your help.
In addition, Montague Miller & Co., Realtors will make a monetary donation, for each pair of socks donated, to our area's grassroots organizations that coordinate space and volunteers and shelter for individuals in our communities who are experiencing homelessness.

History behind Socktober Campaign: In October 2011, author/creator, Brad Montague, in Tennessee, realized there was a large homeless population in his hometown, and he wanted to do something about it. So Brad took action. He began to film himself wishing people "Happy Socktober!" as he gave out pairs of socks on the streets, and he posted these videos on social media. Since then, Socktober has exploded!
